CROWN AND BRIDGE-IN A PHYSICALLY COMPROMISED PATIENT

CASE REPORT
A 36 YEAR OLD MALE PATIENT CAME TO OUR CLINIC COMPLAINS OF DECAYED UPPER AND LOWER TEETH
THIS PATIENT WAS A BUSINESS MAN IN CALICUT,AND HE HAD UNDER GONE A ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT AND HE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED,HE IS PARALIZED, AND HE LOST HIS SIGHT(GOD MAY GIVE HIM PATIENCE AND HE MAY REWARDED FOR IT HERE AFTER).AND HE IS BED-RIDDEN  ,WHEN WE SAW HIM AT HIS HOUSE HE CAN OPEN HIS MOUTH PROPERLY AND HIS ORAL HYGIENE WAS POOR DUE TO LACK MOUTH OPENING,
WE GIVE THE ORAL HYGIENE INSTRUCTIONS TO HIS WIFE,AND SHE FOLLOWS IT ABSOLUTELY IN AN APPRECIABLE MANNER
-THE MAIN CHALLENGE WE APPROACH WHILE DOING HIS TREATMENT WAS INABILITY TO OPEN THE MOUTH AND LACK OF PROPER UNDERSTANDING
-HE APPROACHED SOME OTHER CLINIC AND THEY SUGGEST TOTAL EXTRACTION
AND NO REPLACEMENT
-WE TAKE IT AS A CHALLENGE TO DO OUR TREATMENT OPTION WITH FULL CONSENT FROM HIS FAMILY
-BUT WE MANAGED HIM TO CO-OPERATE WITH THE TREATMENT
-WE EXTRACTED HIS DECAYED LATERAL TEETH(12 AND 22)

PRE OPERATIVE VIEW
WE PREPARE A CANTI-LEVER BRIDGE FROM CANINE AND REPLACE THE LATERALS
CANTI-LEVER BRIDGE

POST OPERATIVE VIEW

THE TREATMENT IS CONTINUING NOW TO RESTORE HIS REMAINING TEETH AS WELL
